Nice weekend to relax, and remember how to feel somewhat "alive."

Out with the camera on Friday, same day I learned my last casualty of the grueling work since mid-October was the last outstanding photo class I was teaching, after having to cancel two sessions on short notice because of Sat work scheduled on the day-before Friday. Fitting for the last Friday the 13th of 2009.

Finally donated blood on Saturday...some six weeks after becoming eligible again. Between being sick with flu, having to work two Saturdays, being run down...ran out of worthwhile reasons not to give.

Feels nice to open Photoshop to edit something other that electrical panel schedules or timecards or documents for work.

More pics from camera outings will be added this week, and beyond.

Feeling quiet...feeling very low-key...feeling just a little bit small

Honey, there's nothing to watch. My gallery is gone. I have been senselessly assaulted by some kid that joined here a week ago and harrassed me all weekend. I am being shot in effigy on her journal [link] a number of people have reported this all day, and it's still there.

I read it.

My gut feeling is they're a f*cking sleazeball, and the dA admins are dropping the ball on what can be read as a direct threat of violence. Free speech, it is not. dA's idea to attract more popularity is going to backfire in their own face, and we of what was once a comfy artistic community will be sacrificed. I hope they are genuinely happy with their "new" membership.

I am stunned they have not removed that journal. I checked all day, and it is always still there with the gun firing at my head and blood coming out the back. Unbelievable!!!!

I'd be politically INcorrect by phrasing it as FUCKING unbelievable, my dear!

That's NOT "free speech" in my opinion, but what the hell do I know anymore.

I guess the dA Gods prefer new anonymous nonpaying members who don't have anything worthwhile to share with this community vs. someone with a creative flair and willingness to express themselves. Geez, what a stupid exchange!
