A local Polynesian Dance group did a recital performance, which I covered for them and the Grand Theatre Center for the Arts where I teach.
The daughter of the principal family, Alana Taloa, is one of several in the family doing "double duty" between dancing and drumming. She is recorded here, in wonderfully dramatic and theatrical lighting.
